Amazing office and amazing staff! My entire family goes to Dr. Haberkorn and we all love everything about the office from the receptionist to the hygienists to the doctor himself. My mom has had a lot of work done through their office and has absolutely never had any trouble making payments. They are very compassionate and are considerate to our health as well as financial needs. The entire staff is friendly and thoroughly explains everything - I have never left the office confused about what they recommend for treatment or with any unanswered questions. I wouldn’t recommend any other dentist office above this one!
Coffee in the lobby was great. Went for the exam and scheduled wisdom tooth extraction. Missed because of illness and when I tried to reschedule was told my husband's balance due (which no one had mentioned, called about, billed us for, etc at any time since his work was done) would need to be paid in full before I could get help. Knowing I'm broke and can't afford an exam anywhere else (only get 1 every 6mo w/ insurance) and knowing I'm in excruciating pain (they prescribed me codeine!) they inform me that a measly (for a business) $380+ is the reason they now refuse to help me. Is $380 enough to stop caring about people? How could you live with yourselves or think this is ok?? The only reason that money is owed anyways is that they told him that the procedure would be covered, then the insurance company wouldn't and so now we owe it. Which we would have happily paid over time, but no one ever said anything was due! Come on! Work with us to get us help, don't just leave us high and dry over that! The irony of it all - If I'd just gone in when I had the flu, I wouldn't be in pain now!
The people are great until they (corporately) make a mistake that costs you lots of time, money and agony...but isn't that the test of truly great people??
